As Pistonheads regular strength brews are some of our favourites here at Lowbrews, we were particularly excited about Flat Tyre. It was much lighter than we expected, in both taste and colour. There was reduced carbonation compared to most ales leaving us feeling, well…flat. A clean and neutral smell is fine, but alongside an almost diluted shandy like taste, this is one lager which unfortunately failed to inspire.
"Left us feeling flat"
It’s inoffensive, but hardly memorable. Certainly a long way from the dry hopped goodness promised on the label. We wish this was better, we really do. Hopefully Pistonheads can learn from this and produce some stunners in the future, but this isn’t it.

What the label says:
“Dry hopped lager. Non-alcoholic brewed with mosaic hops. With hints of tropical fruits and citrus, Pistonhead Flat Tyre features an aromatic, balanced, pleasant bitterness. Naturally carbonated. A lager that pours smoothly without an over-inflated head.”
