Bright and fun branding with a bold yellow cap and solid illustrative label. We are expecting something playful from Mikkeller here. We receive a good head on pour which holds its carbonation.

The clarity is quite fuzzy rather than clear. But this was as expected as it is a wheat ale. Still, a nice amber tone shines through. It has a light smell which hints of fruits and hops. A wonderful bitterness on first mouthful which spreads throughout and into the finish.
"Something playful from Mikkeller"
Drink’in the sun is self-described as a wheat ale but we think it fits the class of a hoppy craft ale with its definitive hop flavouring. As with most of Mikkellers low alcohol range, this holds a lower ABV at 0.3% than the popular 0.5%.

The quality is fantastic and the likeness to alcoholic ales is, we are certain, able to fool those not informed of its status. Quality once more from Mikkeller.
